Inertia is the state where the political parties have all become Bought and Paid For, sustained by an electorate split but out of touch with more than 50% of voting age population.

The Non Voting Majority will break the logjam of electoral inertia....that to be associated with either of the old parties in 8 years will be something you hide from your friends....Tea Party types are largely Independent, the greatest relative constant in politics.

The target of Independents is to counterprogram malfeasance of the elected.
