As I said these kind of fund raisers are enormously expensive, even when the talent performs for free. The argument is that it is worth it since the money that DOES go to the charity would not have been contributed otherwise.

Also, the charity receives priceless publicity. and how many of the people who go to these things also write checks directly to the charity. Lots I expect.

If I hear the charity complaining then I'll say Hannity deserves to be condemned. I don't hear that right now.
