For me, the key will be how well the Dems starting framing the meaning of the vote. And how well they keep doing it through October. A very large percentage of the electoral opposition is built on gross misinformation. A good political campaign should reduce that. As for down the road, past the 2010 elections, I don't see any way the Reps can recover from their "no" stance unless they change the subject.
