Do you guys still get together every 10 years or is it more often now? I have met with some of the tankers twice since the battle. Much more often with some of my "A" team mates. That film is interesting to me mostly because it is very accurate and depicts how SF helps every combat unit be better. I once heard the question asked how we all survived the night. The tanker's answer was that I was the only SFer with them the night before but on that on that particular night there were 2 of us Green Berets helping them defend that hill and stop a huge NVA attack. Some folks still don't realize that US SF are the premier fighting infantrymen in the world. Couple that with all the other skills they learn and a 12 man team becomes a formidable force anywhere and everywhere on earth. Give then some indigenous folks to train and they become the most significant force multiplier in the world. Give them some air support and they are almost invulnerable. I think my team at Ben Het proved all of that. And I think a lot of other teams have proved it better and more recently.
