My 2 Cents on How to best sell the WinChip:
1.Start with the third tier market.

2.By Jan. Achieve capacity to produce over 100,000 units a
month.Get a tier 1 vendor.The cyrix MediaGx used in
CPQ's sub 1k box SELLS because People are buying a CPQ....
This is a name they trust.IDT needs a CPQ level computer mfg to gain rapid exceptance.

3.Drop the price to 20 or 30 percent above cost.
This should be somewhere around 50 dollars....No other
vendor can touch this price except maybe the MediaGX.

4.Repeat the above with a major notebook vendor.

5.Join with AMD, NSM/CYRIX,Mother Board mfgs and Chip Set makers
to agree on OPEN STANDARDS for the NEXT GENERATION OF PC'S CPU
MB and ChipSet.Either we all hang together or we hang seperately

6.Declare a PR War on Intel.Expose Intel for what it is a bloated
overpriced monopoly trying to screw the world. boogy people
yeh right...."ONLY THE PARANOID SURVIVE".

Some rambling:
Can you imagine what
a good pr firm could do with this.2 identicle computers sitting
side by side both running the same applications.The really big
difference being that one costs 1000 dollars while the other
costs 2,000 dollars...One guy says It has an INTEL PII CPU
the other guys says thats nice I got swoosh ton of software
printer, desk and digital camera with the 1,000 bucks I saved.
This would kill intel.....so why slot 1 oh yea for fast fast
fast SRAM CACHE and now you are going to remove the fast fast
fast SRAM so you can sell it cheap enough....what a bunch of
crap!!!!!Intel is sweating bullits.
