Yes, it will be fun to be back I think. There are a couple of reasons for my emergence from the shadows :)

When I get worried about my retirement longs, I equate that to "my spidey senses tingling". This is the stuff I trade into something else like once every 2 years. The last time I felt the nagging worry, the spidey senses, was the winter of 2007/2008.

As of this moment, I have a rather "old man profile" to my investments:

a) About 15% gold exposure, still from the bottom called here in Nov 2008. This has been a wonderful blessing.

b) About 60% equities exposure. I was late on this one and missed about half of the drive out of the bottom. Not well done on my part. We were given a nice "hound signal" and I was way to slow to act.

b) Rest outside the equities market.
