This is my reply to Kristen's reply:
Dear Kristen,
Although I appreciate you getting back to me, this (what seems to be a form) letter still does not address the underlying issue. Did or did not protesters at the capital rally last Sunday during the HC vote call out racial slurs to any member of the Congressional Black Caucus? I have continued to look for evidence that these events occurred by watching (what seems like) 100s of videos, and still........I did not see where one racial slur was uttered.
I would appreciate you following up on this for me, and also for the thousands of listeners of NPR. Telling your audience that this did in fact happen, yet not verifying the veracity of the charge, leaves many wondering if perhaps the producer and editor of NPR might have made a mistake?
I have pointed this curious phenomenon out to several on line and 3 D friends and family and some of them have graciously and willingly joined me in searching for proof of NPR's reporting. Thankfully, most of them are very interested in getting to the bottom of this, and are taking the time to help me search various on line reports and taped archives, as we are all only interested in finding the truth.
Any information you could provide that would satisfy our inquisitiveness would be greatly appreciated, and rest assured, I will gladly pass along anything that proves racial slurs were or were not uttered during that rally to each and every one of them.
Sincerely, |
