Subsidizing INDIVIDUALS (say by expanding the federal threshold level of income that can qualify for Medicaid, as this law does up to 133% of federal poverty level) is *not*, (by definition), a 'corporate subsidy' or 'corporate welfare'.

Your subsidizing individuals when, and only when, they buy the products from the companies. Extra money is flowing in to the companies because of the subsidies as surely as if the check was written to the company.
