Universal health care is inevitable. There is, imo, no other solution. Not providing universal healthcare is tantamount to allowing people die in the streets. I don't know how people actually die. I have only been present to see someone die only a few times in my life. I don't actually know the process of how those millions (?) of people without access to healthcare die from illness that would not have died if they had adequate health care, but I could imagine that it is not pretty. We know that all the advanced nations in the world provide universal health care for less than 15% of gdp. How is universal healthcare any different or any less important than wiping out illiteracy or mandating that all kids get educated.
