When the bank flopped, the British and Dutch governments reimbursed their citizens and demanded that Iceland reimburse them. This is the part that enrages me. The Icelandic taxpayer does not owe the British and Dutch government a single dime. This would be like if McDonald's poisened a school bus tour and sent me a bill for it because I am a U.S. citizen and Mc Donald's is a U.S. based company. It is senseless!
