Hi Folks: Long time no hear. Still keep an eye on the message board though. I also received an email from siskinds. I wrote them back and asked for an update on VRS because their newsrelease had no info on VRS.
Here is the correspondence. Hope it helps. IADEN
Dear (Iaden), My clerk forwarded me your correspondence. We appreciate your continued interest in this case. As you may or may not be aware, the Ontario Superior Court recently approved Allen-Vanguard's Plan of Arrangement and Reorganization which had the effect of restricting the defendants in our proposed class action to certain of its current and former officers and directors. Our firm is still pursuing a class action as against those individuals, however as noted on our website the recovery has been limited to the available insurance coverage. We will update our website should any new developments occur. I have added in a web link to this site for your reference: classaction.ca Yours very truly, Scott Selig. ________________________________________ From:(IADEN) Sent: Monday, March 22, 2010 8:27 PM To: Nicholas Baker Subject: RE: Siskinds LLP Announces Settlement of the CP Ships Ltd. and Orsu Metals Corporation, New Cases Under Investigation, and the Certification of the Gammon Gold Class Action
Thank you for the update, however, this shows nothing with respect to my class action suit of
Allen Vanguard.
Please advise where we stand? Thank you in advance (IADEN)
