Nothing new under the Sun. Obama was criticized for knowing a guy who was once a member of The Weather Underground. Those folks were mostly highly educated and I didn't know any who were Muslim, though some may have been. Ditto for The Symbionese Liberation Army, which I believe turned out to be an army of 12 plus a rich girl. You simply cannot keep citizens out of the bombings and shootings, etc. Citizens just keep turning up unexpectedly and getting killed. We have the power to overturn our govt., legally, any time we are in the mood. Right now, it's just too much effort for most lazy Americans. And the fact is, most Americans benefit greatly from the gov's actions and only a few discontents among the non-wealthy are not aware of that fact. Yes, the rich will raise hell if somebody tries to slow the growth rate of their fortunes, but they are too few to last long in a fire fight.
