I was about to hype Viragen, VRGN, when I found that it
had already been hyped here. So, link back to the original
post.

Viragen will (hopefully!) be putting out their product, Omniferon,
which, from is natural alpha Interferon...from my preliminary
research (after getting in at just under $2 with my first "third"
I have found out that this stuff is expensive...but VRGN may be
able to produce it much cheaper than other companies when
it's new plant is online, and the Interferon-alpha is apparently
much better tolerated than the synthetics. Lurking on a hepC
usenet newsgroup I have found out that there is a veritable
hepatitus plague occuring in the world...and a person who
ends up on the expensive interferon treatment can expect
to shell out on the order of a hundred dollars a week for the
stuff. Recently the Viragen thread here on SI has been absolutely
dead, and the company has been quiet too. At first glance it seems
unlikely that they would build a new manufacturing facility just to go
bankrupt...but many folks on the VRGN thread have ridden this stock
down from much higher levels...the trend is very bad. This is my only
hype for now...about the only US stock I own right now...having sold
most of my OREM:)
