It's beyond me to understand how you permit a senator who campaigned against his own party's presidential candidate to retain any clout. It is just cold calculation politics. Lieberman is Senator #60 for the Democrats (before Scott Brown). If he was Senator #61, he would likely have been treated much worse. If the Republicans pick up 9 seats in November, maybe Joe will start to organize with the Republicans?
