So let me get this straight. These wait staff make more money than allowed by Medicaid, therefore, it has already been determined that they make enough money to buy some kind of healthcare for themselves and opt not to do that and spend the money on other things, like crap from China and Alcohol, Tobacco and Weed. (I know the restaurant industry from people that work there and they are all heavy smokers and drinkers). So the wait staff get their regular hourly wage (by the way in CA wait staff get a min. of $7.50 per hour)plus tips and now they want 4% more of everybody's bill? ""Either way, customers are footing the bill for the health care of their waitstaff, busboys, and cooks, regardless of whether the workers work part time, live in San Francisco, or are in the U.S. legally.""--What!!!! I always believed the liberals that the BIG EVIL CAPITALIST BOURGEOISE BUSINESS OWNERS HAVE TO PAY RIGHT OUT OF THEIR OWN POCKETS AS PUNISHMENT!!!!
