This rationale can also be extended to those who invite ill health through consumption of alcohol and tobacco in a "socialized medicine system". It is unfortunate that some who hold the issue of "right to life" dear to their hearts have decided to bring their pet issue to the fore. Ii can see the point of those who maintain that their dollars should not go for abortion. But let us also extend that thought to those issues which destroys life such as alcohol and tobacco consumption, processed foods etc. But is this the issue when we talk about UHC.
