KT,

I obviously disagree with you. I think it's very clear the Federal government and its institutions ARE the problem.

I also pretty much disagree with you on democracy.

IMO democracy is a great idea when the power of government is limited and more importantly not centralized. That way there's not much to fight about and you can always vote with you feet if you disagree with the locals. Other than that, it will inevitably lead to financial disaster. IMO, the US is already a mortal lock to have a major financial and social debacle in my lifetime.

At this point, I feel have to acknowledge to myself that my political opponents are suffering from severe emotional immaturity, delusional idealism, and a lack of some basic areas of intelligence. Also, unfortunately, their numbers are so large (mostly falling into the area of lacking intelligence) it will be near impossible to democratically create the country that I want to live in.

I think people like me have a decision to make.

1. We can keep trying and failing to change things.

2. We can try to occupy one or more states in large numbers and secede.

3. We can get violent

4. We can leave the country.

#1 would be a comical waste of time and energy

#2 My preference, but such movements are likely to fail because the left will prevent it by force

#3 is not something I would ever personally be willing to do, but I have begun internally debating the morality of it (which is more immoral? using violence to oppose injustice even though its against the will of the ignorant masses or allowing it to fester and grow?)

#4 The left and financial elites have already destroyed the entire globe so unless Mars gets terraformed by a few libertarians, I'm out of luck.
