None of the tracking applications you listed are difficult to develop and launch. A few weeks of development by a few people. That's my problem with this hype. They all use off-the-shelf hardware available to all. On software, google "GPS tracking software" and you get 50,000 hits. There is nothing strategic here that a hundred other companies aren't already doing. Add to that the fact that the number one reason early stage companies fail is lack of focus. More products are definitely not better at this early underfunded stage. Making one thing profitable is what makes companies take off. If you didn't know these basic things then you don't have 30 years of experience, you have one year of experience repeated 30 times. I hope everyone on this board can use this information as insight. What we are looking for in LBAS is some true large scale traction in one area. Short of this, they won't survive.
