Carl - Re: "Industry analysts claim Intel has 80% of the market share in the processor arena, and that's true in terms of revenue. In terms of processors sold, however, Intel has a much smaller share of the total market-about 35%." Maybe Intel's attorneys "planted" that bit of nonsense so as to convince the FTC/DOJ that Intel DOES NOT have a monopoly. Or, maybe AMD solved their yield problems a lot faster than anyone predicted! The author clearly never bothered to read any of the quarterly reports of these 3 companies, and he most certainly never listened to the conference calls following these reports. Remember - never confuse the News with the Facts. Paul
