Not true. I have discussed this issue with Jews from Iraq and Iran that trace their family histories back to the diaspora. They told me how bummed they were that the British and US upset the peaceful lives their families had enjoyed for 3,000 years. They were forced to leave and go to Israel by the hatred overflow as a result of western meddling in the affairs of both countries.
