HUNDREDS of amendments were (more coming today) offered.

Too fast for me to have seen who's name was on each and every one --- because that hasn't been reported yet as far as I know.

On TUESDAY is was reported that the "public option" would be ONE of the many amendments that the GOP in the Senate would try to tack-on to the reconciliation bill (to try to force liberal Dem. Senators into taking a vote that they don't want to --- against something that they actually want, so the GOP can call them 'flip-floppers' or whatever when they campaign against 'em this Fall).

All I know is that McConnell was chosen to floor manage the GOP 'amend-a-fest' in the Senate. (So presumably he and maybe a few others got to decide on which amendments were offered up, in what order, etc.)

If you are REALLY all that curious about what Senator's name is attached to that particular amendment... I'm guessing they may have a final count by the close of business TODAY 'cause I'm seeing Senator Reed saying they will be wrapped-up with this biz in the Senate today by around 2:00 PM or so....
