Read an article today that referred to 401K as "our national retirement pool" and later saw an article about the SLIU wanting to create a common retirement fund from our 401Ks. It's hard to imagine my 401K could be confiscated, seems like it could be a April Fools joke. Would I be foolish to reduce my 401K contribution to my company match and preparing to withdraw and pay the penalty? Read a quote that "this administration is the worst ever for the prudent." Perhaps it's time to start living for the moment?
