The PR firm telephone number is 510-938-2678. Contact there is Mary McGowan. I've talked with her a few times. She's very polite and will hop right to it if you need the latest earnings report faxed to you. But she doesn't know or refuses to talk about anything that has not appeared in print. Last time I talked to her I asked about the annual stockholders meeting. She said it was scheduled for sometime in September and somewhere in Florida. I never received notice nor saw any reports of this meeting. Did anyone else? I used to call Phil Signore occasionally and he was upbeat about the company. I liked that. Since they hired the professional stonewaller It seems that the company is actually making an effort to keep the stockholders as ill-informed as possible. I hate that. I think the price/volume action here indicates that someone knows something interesting will be announced with the earnings report (that is due any day). I'm not going to frustrate myself trying to find out what that is from McGowan. I'll just have to wait and see when the report is released.
