No.. we are dealing with a bill that is mandating all restaurants, fast food shops and kiosks spell out caloric intakes for what they sell. In Cali they want to ban toy giveaways at Mac and Dons. But why do you consider these consumer protection measures to be bad? I like knowing what's in the food I eat...i don't want to consume too much fat or salt or other harmful stuff. You should be concerned with the huge amounts of money we spend as a society caring for people with preventable diseases, yes? We are dealing with the thought police who firmly believe individuals are to stupid to know what is good for them. Again, that's a hard way to look at things...in many cases people don't know they are being harmed...awareness and education are part of the process of bringing better health to people....think about smoking for example...years of companies trying to conceal the actual effects of the habit costing society billions and wrecking people's health until the awareness campaign, warning labels on cigarette packs and so on. They are not saying you can't eat or drink or even smoke this stuff, they are just trying to make you aware of what it is you are consuming. I'm guessing your a math teacher Al...
