It's like the kids and grandkids going home, very peaceful. Yet you wouldn't trade it for the world IMO.

The cat is nowhere to be found often. Never sits on my lap as our old one did, which I miss. But if I have an epic screwed up day and I'm stressed to the max I'll stomp in the door at home, make my way to the fridge and liquor cabinet and poor a drink, turn on some soothing music and sit in the recliner. My ass will no sooner hit the chair and out of nowhere comes that darn cat and she will leap up into my lap and lay down and purr.

Somehow she knows.
