You apparently feel a conscience is a bad thing. It is a good thing. When you were being raised did someone forget to tell you that, or were you just born without one? I do not need health insurance. I have 2 million from my retirement and medicare, so I am only thinking of others. And I still work 7 days a week and pay, gladly, more in taxes each year than most people earn.
