So then, the fact that so many Dems would not commit their yes vote on HCR until they saw the CBO numbers last Wed was all for show. The Dems already had it wired but to create a little drama they pretended they didn't know what the outcome would be. Interesting.
If its so obvious what the Dems did, why doesn't the author explain specifically what it is they did to 'fix' the health costs in their favor? Quoting Baucus, a blue dog Dem from MT who was not all that excited about health care reform to begin with and spent nearly a year going nowhere with a HC bill, ain't going to do for me:

Max Baucus, the early architect of the Senate legislation, admitted that the actual ten-year cost is well over $1 trillion.
You know from school.......if someone disagrees with a conclusion, then it is up to that person to disprove that conclusion. But that's not what wingers do.......and yes, your author is Mr. Baikins, the Director of Public Policy for the Center for Individual Freedom, an ultra conservative think tank that works very hard to knock down anything that might help the average American. Wingers don't have to disprove anything.......their entitlement says they can simply make innuendo and that's good enough.
However, that's not good enough for me. If the Dems are lying, prove it....with fact, not innuendo! |
