Peter, I don't want to "refight" Viet Nam. Although, I've always been to the "right" on that issue over the years. I didn't go over there but my years from 17 to 21 were VERY "involved" with that conflict. If I hadn't been in college I would have been on the next boat out because I didn't do too well in the draft lottery. I joined ROTC because the word at the time was that they were going to drop the college deferment. I had to wear my uniform on campus in 1970. (Not the most popular thing). I didn't march, I didn't protest, I didn't look for accommodations in Canada.
