It's a corporate giveaway, and its been happening for decades.

Since corporations are not fully taxed for health benefits given to employees, they have taken to upping such benefits in lieu of pay - essentially, supplementing their employee compensation with government dollars.

Btw: I am for the taxation of the so-called 'cadillac plans'.
