Rant coming: Does anyone know the precise equation? Are you kidding? Since when has the government used anything like a precise equation for much of anything?????

All anyone has to do is look around and see the roads are much less traveled by bumper to bumper cars....the stores have much less inventory and much less choice of products....you can toss a bowling ball down the aisles of many stores and not hit a single person....the US entire economy is lagging....houses are underwater....banks aren't lending but are getting taxpayer funds to do just that....

Several times in the 1980's, and the 1990's. the figures for the unemployment rates were 'revised' to only show the numbers of people who are out of work for the previous 6 MONTHS....NOT the total numbers of people out of work for the last year or two ....

This government has done NADA to help any business stay in business. The taxes continue to rise, and are slated to rise more. The government has now taken over 48%+ of the economy.

This government is doing every single thing it can to reduce the number of jobs, increase the number of unemployment, and bankrupt the entire Country.

How's that for an accurate count?

That aside:

The Government uses manipulated data. The Real data can be found at Shadowstats.com. There you can find Government manipulated compared to the real original pre-manipulated index numbers post 1981. The Real numbers for unemployment vs. Government promoted numbers are running in excess of 20%.
