In the summer of 2000 after performing for the guests at Bohemian Grove, en.wikipedia.org a friend of mine was told by one of the fat cats (as a way of returning a favor) that "they are going to let gold rise now". It seems to me that "they" have their timetable worked out far in advance and they don't want anybody messing with it.
