Funny, but I followed your snopes link, read the article(3rd one) and looked at the "certifiate" posted. Indeed it is not the original birth certificate. Our kids(born in Hawaii in the 80's) actual birth certificates look nothing like that. The one posted is actually a certification from the State of HI confirming he was born here. Quite a huge difference actually. Whenever we need to produce documentation of birth for our kids we go to the State and get a certification just like what was posted.

Kind of like getting stopped by a cop and he asks you for your driver's license and you give him a note from your mother stating what a good driver you are and of course you are licensed.
