Manufacturing in this country is collapsing and the US gov is doing nothing to stop the collapse. Thats not a belief... its a provable fact.

On the one hand you lament too much government intervention in the free markets, in this case you lament none. What would have want the government to do that it has not already?

I gave you a clear example.

Please point me clearly to it...i may have missed it.

Last I checked our trade deficit {manufacturing} was over $450 billion.

As long as there is a disparity in cost of labor between us and other countries, particularly Asia and India, that's going to continue. I don't think anyone has an equation that solves this problem without creating protectionist consequences. Do you?
