Secondly, people form opinions based on their experiences..... So if a white woman has some bad interactions with black men on the street, she can turn racist? I am not saying its right but it happens. you by a few experiences can form a negative opinion about all the poeple of a state? Its not a few experiences....its a lot of experiences. yes, the Texas bashing here has gotten rather large. It is one thing to deal specificially with the school board. course I would like it if someone, anyone, would delve into something I post about incarceration numbers in CA, or what they are doing to young men of color in NYC... but that seems to get no interest. why is that? I am not sure about others but I have raised that issue on other threads. Just because its not discussed doesn't mean people don't agree with you. are 'we' here actually worried about treatment of people of color and poor people in this country or only if it is in states that we want to bash? seriously. and Alabama is a mixed state. it is almost 30 percent black. Texas is a mixed state with its population of hispanics and also blacks. Idaho or New Hampshire? not so mixed. So what? My views about TX were not based on race.
