You are reading something into my statement that isn't there, and attributing it to me.

Life for me is a search for the truth. It's all about balance. Science takes us part of the way, religion can help fill in the gaps. To look at the stars through a high powered telescope begs the question of higher life forms, a much higher intelligence than our pathetically tiny brains are capable of understanding. There is so much beauty in this universe that it probably isn't random.

Science and Religion can coexist and be in harmony, but many religious people don't think so. They insist on denying the truth, which earns them my disdain. What kind of fool thinks a scientist couldn't have built the universe?
