<How about novel idea, allow working stiff keep their money instead of subsidizing rich or lazy. This would be a progress.>

You have no idea what it means to lose your job and get sick -- if you did then you would know that working stiffs lose everything they have worked their whole life to save and build -- everything -- when they get sick and lose their health insurance. And once you are sick and out of work, it does not matter if you get another job, because now you have a 'pre-existing condition'. Working stiffs? You presume far too much when you think you speak for anybody else. You think that somebody who gets fired these days is lazy? You think that somebody who gets cancer is lazy? They only one lazy here is you for failing to give it even a moment of thought -- the lazy jackasses in America are the ones who do not know how t live in civilized society where what happens to the people around you actually matters.
