Lee: Companies are known to follow a strategy to depress the price sufficiently to repurchase the stock in the open market. MSFT did it at somepoint, saying that the stock was over-valued. Good companies do not generally mislead, but do add comments to feed on the existing fears (sub $1000 PC, plant expansion postponement, feeling about SE-Asian economy's impact, etc.). These days huge blocks are being bought while small lots are being sold. Beware! Don't dump your stock. Sankar
