Is it? Obama's 2009 deficit was $1.3 trillion. That by the way was bush's budget passed in October of 2008... You didn't mention that when bush took office, he inherited a 200B surplus and a CBO 10 year projection of $5B. When he left office, he had erased the $5B credit and added $5 more to the national debt, doubling it in just 8 years, and leaving behind fiscal and economic devastation with which Obama is having to deal.
