Neeka,

I took the benefits immediately on turning 62. I figured (based on inputs of others who have studied it rigorously) I would have to live past 75 to make more money. The real deciding factor is that I believe SS will be means tested away from me - as I led a responsible and blessed life - and can get along without it.

None the less - I am not about to throw an individual stone into a sea of federal red ink.

So - on the basis I believe it will be taken away - I am taking it as long as I can. Heck - it pays for my health insurance premiums - until those go up next year.

Bob
