Your Obama jaw-dropper of the day…

President Barack Obama told US Troops in Afghanistan yesterday, via NewsBusters:

“The United States of America does not quit once it starts on something. You don’t quit, the American armed services does not quit. We keep at it. We persevere.”

Of course, this is the same guy voted to cut-and-run several times in Iraq
and ran on a cut-and-run platform.

In 2007 Barack Obama even endorsed genocide rather than “keep at it” in Iraq.

Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama said Thursday the United States cannot use its military to solve humanitarian problems and that preventing a potential genocide in Iraq isn’t a good enough reason to keep U.S. forces there.

Barack Obama is last one who should stand in front of the troops and make such a promise.
