Elmatador, India and indians are very capable in living in both worlds simultaneously - the new world of Silicon Valley and Wall Street; and the old world of arranged marriages, class structures, and other divisions. Just remember that Silicon Valley is currently dominated by Indian entrepreneurs. And these came from only a small 2 percent of population that got decent college education in India in the 1980s to 1990s. Every decade this pool doubles in size. And today, Silicon Valley and Bangalore are tied together. The ideas are flowing in both directions. So at least in computer and software technologies, innovations are starting to happen in India. -Arun
