Greetings Ron, To respond to your # 7 point, << if He was God..... >> I understand the bible to teach that Adam was given dominion over gods creation on earth but handed that legal authority over to satan when he disobeyed God. Satan then became " lord " or " god " of this world. When adam " fell " the whole human race" fell " with him and now " man" who is comprised of , spirit ,soul and body has been seperated from his true meaning or identity which is found in his relationship with his Creator. Since "man" has plunged all humanity into darkness only " man" can redeem " man ". This is the essence of the "Good News", God took unto Himself a human body and became the " last Adam ", His name is Jesus Christ and whoever will call upon the Lord Jesus Christ will be saved. I have said all this to try and give you my understanding that when Jesus walked on His creation He did so by laying aside His Deity, so when satan tempted Him, He was tempted as a "man" and as a man he was the first since adam to overcome satan. The Son of Man triumphantly overcame satan in these temptations and he had to do it completely as a " man". Only man can redeem man and this was done by God Himself becoming a man. I trust this may answer your point in question Ron. Grace and peace be upon the Israel of God. Robert
