Agree on all points SS. I also hope that whoever the Repub candidate is, keeps his/her religious views private. GWB did to a large degree, but the media made a huge deal of the "RWChristian they stamped on his forehead"..... JFK certainly was shown to go to the Catholic Church which was fine, and he didn't talk about it all the time, as Huckabee does.

But then again, we don't have pictures with all the ladies JFK romped with in the WH either, which wouldn't have sat well with his Church nor his supporters. We can be pretty sure GWB didn't do anything like that or we would still be hearing about it.

There really is a difference in talking about religion specifics in the effort to convince others all the time, and living your life quietly, with your religion in the background as your anchor.

Live your life in such a way that people wonder what makes you a steady influence and sometimes a guiding light for others.
