I object to the the way he implied I may have been supportive of bank parasites and I object the the way he implied two wrongs make a right.

If I implied that this was meant as a personal comment or insult to you - let me clarify that it was most definitely not. If it came across that way, let me start by apologizing and correcting that misperception. I do not think you are supportive of bank parasites.

The point i was trying to make - and again if my wording was vague let me try to clarify it - was this; ......People who go to work on a 9 to 5 job doing some of the crappy jobs I wouldn't ever be willing to do are not parasites. They may be overly paid sometimes (and sometimes not) but they perform a service. I used the example of nurses (who are apparently public workers in Canada) because they were mentioned in your Trend Analysis link. .......The comparison to bankers who get bailed out by gambling with - now - public funds however are in my mind "parasites". They get filthy rich using public money and in the derivatives gambling offered nothing of public value in return (in the specific case of housing mortgage derivatives). That would indeed qualify them as parasites. ......It's not that "two wrongs make a right" at all, it's that one is indeed a parasite and one is not.

Mish I have agreed with you a lot in the past and have said so. I have made generous complimentary post when you are right - but if I think you are wrong I will say so. If that gets me banned, it means I will be banned for the second time in 14 years. Anything else though, is that of a sycophant being servile and makes the comments of those posters who always agree meaningless.
