I use CA-CL to mean Current Assets less Current Liabilities ie Net Current Assets. Maybe it is a British thing, as I picked it up in London. Means the same thing.

Always happy to hear alternative viewpoints

Has anyone looked at Ceradyne recently at all? I quite like the products, management's track record on the stock, and the fact it has temporary earnings weakness while the end users of its products are hit by the cyclical downturn.

- 23.21 price
- 0.91 price to book
- 12.65% Debt to Equity
- 18.9% RoE 5yr
- 9.44 Cash per share

Other ones of interest to me at the moment; I'll do a longer write-up later:

- Timberland (strong business brand and value characteristics)
- Daily Journal Corp (cash per share; run-up in share price is large though)
- Tessera (strong revenue growth historically and value characteristics - price seems depressed as it has missed guidance...sign for me to buy)

Any thoughts?

Regards,

Alex
