The GOP has a much better grasp on economics than the Democrats do.

Premiums will be shooting through the roof. That to me is an inevitability. Various reasons why I believe so. Main reason is that the Baby Boomers are starting to retire.

This is why I think universal health care is an inevitability. It's way too late to tell people to take ownership of their own retirement and their own health care costs, so the only other way is via government takeover.

ObamaCare just hastened this inevitability. It does absolutely NOTHING to reduce costs (shifting numbers from one accounting category to another doesn't count), but it does everything to increase demand.

Let's get one thing straight here. The sky isn't falling. Even with socialized medicine, America will still live on, albeit in a form that resembles Europe more than emerging economies like China and India.
