On a more useful note, who will win big if the RMB is revalued 15% ?

Which importers that now have narrow margins will be on the gravy train ?

The companies and people sitting on large stock of commodities like copper may take a temporary hit as their current commodity inventory is marked down, but their margins may expand greatly, making up for all the 'loss' in a few months.

Here's the really cute part - many of the Chinese exporters face stiff competition - from other China firms, but not from firms in other countries. I expect this is part of what Professor Zhou sees. There will be some losses on a few items, like women's plain cotton shirts to Viet Nam or Indonesia. The higher priced printed shirts (takes a little capital for the printing machinery) will still come from China.

How are you positioned for a revaluation ?
