Clueless as usual, aren't you?

For 8 years, Bush did nothing about Iran. Scratch that. Actually, Bush was Iran's best friend. He took out Saddam, who was Iran's worst enemy. In addition, he empowered the Shia in Iraq, who in many cases are nothing but puppets of Iran. No wonder Iran feels empowered to flout the international community and go for the bomb.

But Obama is clever. He has been creating leverage. The biggest sticking point is China. They have blocked all of our attempts to get tough with Iran. So Obama has created leverage by making alot of noise about Google and then making noise about currency manipulation, and in general, letting China know that the US still has quite a bit of power and we can make things quite uncomfortable for China.

Then guess what happened? Obama's pressure has paid off. All of the sudden China is signaling that they may be open to sanctions. Obama and Hillary are now talking openly about moving on sanctions within weeks. They are both convinced China will join the consensus. That is no accident. It was because Obama and the US created leverage and then used that leverage to get China on board.

Do you think Bush and Bolton had enough brain cells to do that? Hell, no. They didn't do shit for 8 years, except pave the way for the current Iran crisis. Once again, Obama has to clean up the GOP's mess.
