The times I've seen Boehner, he doesn't look at all "waxy"...and he is a good looking guy. You might be objecting to the fact that he always has his tie on straight, a clean shirt, no obvious gravy stains on it, shirt tucked into pants (unlike some of his counterparts on the other side of the fence, who most often look like "Shoe")

And (gasp) I'll bet Boehner even has polished shoes.

He looks like he has his "stuff" together, and not like he just blew in from the nearest tavern. Again, unlike some we've been seeing on the other side of the fence.

So many people today like the "Nerdy" look, so they dress AND ACT that way.

Funny thing that....Recruiting for years for a variety of employers around the area...many people in the early years wanted to go to Microsoft. Some had tried to get a job there. I could see why they didn't get to first base. They looked like some of the employees out there did. What they didn't know was that Microsoft tended to believe that someone who worked for them, had to EARN that look....they either came in dressed for success or they didn't work there.

Even Mr. Bill Gates dresses up when he needs to....<ggg>
