Lets see what the proposal is ... so far it looks like its a political response to VA WANTING drilling. But puts a new bar on drilling offshore AK, CA and the west coast, NE, and pushes drilling offshore FL even farther out. The timing of lease sales will be another thing to look at .... are they going to delay till after 2012 ... when presumably Obama, if re-elected (they can dream) can pull the rug out. I'll be impressed if they allow any lease sales before 2012.
